Senior Specialist, Technical Sales Support

Outline of Main Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team in order to provide All types of After Sales Service Support on Stud welding Systems like I&C, Repair, Maintenance, preventive Maintenances, etc

  • Liaise closely with the Projects/Maintenance team of the customer to ensure that the expectation and Stanley understanding is in sync. Use the opportunity to brand Stanley as a Solution provider.

  • Develop and write specifications, performance requirements, Technical analysis and support the sales team to position attractive proposition to the customer.

  • Provides detailed documentation of a job including drawings, operational procedures.

  • Support in developing System integrators and work closely with them for Jig, Fixtures, PLC and other Integration activities associated with Stud welding Systems with Line builders / Customers  making a complete Turnkey Solution provider to customer-

  • Participates and initiate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in field and keep pace with competitor’s activities and product knowledge.

  • Develops and conducts technical Training programs on the safe operations of the equipment, and demonstrates performance including both team members and customers.

  • Coordinates presale demonstrations and trade show exhibitions including Set-up, demonstration, and discussion with potential customers

  • To coordinate with Stanley Principals Unit for getting technical assistance, Application Study, Project Study, BOM preparation, 3D modelling, Configuration making.

  • Approach and maintain good communication with customer's and act as expert for Tucker Stud welding Systems Product Repair

  • Well know about All welding processes, concept and the working of different types of Welding/Joining and Fastening Systems in Automotive Industry.

  •  Installation and commissioning.

  • Planning for maintain tool after installation.

  • Quick response to customer complain, especially for technical issue and trouble shooting

  • Manage tool and equipment at workshop/Regional Stocks / Demo Eq/Record all repair activity

KEY RESULT AREA:

  • Provide Feedback on queries and opinion sought by the sales team in defined time period.

  • Regular customer visits and exploration of other business Opportunities with the customer as requested by sales.

  • Number of Systems Installed, Repaired, MTTR, for After Sales Support, Spares revenue.

Skills and Formal Training Requirements/Experience:

1.Qualifications: B.E.(Mech/Electrical)—Previous experience in handling Dc Nutrunner mostly preferred.

2.Experience: 5 to 8 years in Application engineering, Service/Technical Support, product Management in DC Tools/Assembly Equipments.

3. Essentials: Understanding of Automobile OEM’s functioning is must

4. Excellent communication skills,

5. Should be self-motivated and ready to take new assignments/opportunities.

6. Must travel extensively within India.
