Role Overview

We are seeking a Tech Lead to join a cross-functional product team within the company in Hyderabad. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you will provide technical leadership within the product team, guide key technical decisions and collaborate closely with Product Owner, business stakeholders and partner IT teams.

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable product capabilities while upholding engineering standards and best practices. You will lead through technical expertise and play an active role in mentoring engineers and continuously improving the team’s engineering maturity.

What will you do in this role

  • Partner with business stakeholders and other IT teams to define technical solutions and deliver product outcomes
  • Lead the design and development of new capabilities that solve key business problems and deliver value
  • Provide technical leadership on architecture and implementation decisions ensuring scalability, maintainability and reliability
  • Mentor junior engineers through pairing, code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing

What should you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • At least 8-10 years of hands-on working experience in developing web and/or mobile apps
  • Proven experience as a senior engineer within a product-centric, cross functional team
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and design principles for web, mobile applications and APIs
  • Hands-on experience developing APIs using Java and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience developing Web applications using JavaScript, preferably with React and Node.js
  • Strong experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and automated release pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services, preferably with Amazon RDS and Amazon S3
  • Experience in designing database schemas, including data modelling and normalization
  • Strong experience in managing Oracle databases, including performance tuning, backup/restore operations, and patching/upgrade cycles

What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)

  • Deliver product features and contribute hands-on to resolving production incidents, while improving code quality and engineering practices
  • Improve system reliability and maintainability through better automation, instrumentation and technical standards
