Senior Specialist- Systems Architecture
We are seeking a Senior Specialist- Systems Architecture to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Specialist- Systems Architecture at Marsh, you will collaborate with our Portfolio Delivery function to understand customer and technical needs and design architectural solutions to meet them that are innovative, scalable, reusable and aligned with Marsh’s technology standards and conventions
We will count on you to:
- Work with our partners to understand business and technology problems or opportunities
- Provide process, guidance and governance on technology obsolescence, component re-use and platform modernisation
- Design, document and communicate solution designs that accommodate the Agile Principles of fail fast and provide the resilience necessary to accommodate changing and fluid requirements
- Incorporate reuse, standardisation and security-by-design into your solution designs to simplify, secure and accelerate technology delivery
- Be innovative in your design thinking and use your expertise to influence the MMC technology roadmap
- Take your architectural designs through our on boarding processes to ensure they meet MMC’s standards and conventions
- Participate in architecture reviews as part of MMC’s Architecture Assurance process
- Support the implementation of architectural designs – from infrastructure set up through to delivery – as necessary
- Provide support for our teams and business partners for cost estimations during budget cycles
- Empower the development teams to deliver your architectural designs with a light touch approach
What you need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in a systema architect technical role
- Significant experience with the following technologies, architectures & methodologies: MEAN stack,.Net core, Python or any other middleware technologies
- Utilize major cloud platforms AWS (primarily) or Azure, Google Cloud.
- Containerisation / Kurbenetes
- Microservice based architectureSecure By Design concepts Secure DevOps Exposure to Big Data / Data Lake
- Performance Monitoring (APM)
- Stay open to learning about emerging AI tools and methodologies while collaborating effectively with data architects.
- Advanced Level of English is a Must
