Role Overview

Role Overview:

As a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in Kinaxis Maestro, your main job is to configure and implement the software to meet specific business needs. This means turning business requirements into clear software specifications while ensuring high quality and timely delivery. You will be key in customizing Kinaxis Maestro to improve supply chain management processes, using your technical skills and working closely with various stakeholders.

What will you do in this role:

  • Design, configure and implement Kinaxis Maestro based on business requirements, translating needs into detailed software specifications that meet user stories and deadlines.
  • Join supply chain planning design sessions focused on demand/supply planning and order scheduling to shape solution requirements.
  • Lead data integration and transformation efforts, manage QA/UAT, and collect user feedback to improve implementations.
  • Coordinate with Kinaxis product engineering, professional services, and support to drive product enhancements.
  • Run deployment workshops and train/support end users during testing to ensure smooth adoption

Primary Skills: Kinaxis Maestro/ Rapid Response/supply chain forecasting/material requirements planning (MRP)/constraint management/ production planning / production Scheduling- Data Integration

Secondary: Python, Javascript.

What should you have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 7+ years of authoring experience in Kinaxis Maestro (formerly Rapid Response).
  • 3-5 years of experience in software implementations or deployments within supply chain planning modules, including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and Production Planning and Scheduling.
  • The candidate has proven skills in supply chain forecasting, material requirements planning (MRP), constraint management, and production scheduling. Certifications like APICS are considered beneficial for this role.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with a focus on using these languages for data integration and orchestration to optimize workflows and enhance data processing efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and release management techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
