Role Overview

As an SAP Integration Suite Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing SAP integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite. You will be part of a global SAP team ensuring that all mission-critical SAP systems are in the best possible shape, running with optimal performance and highest availability, and are in full compliance with Quality and Information Security regulations.

What will you do in this role

• Analyze integration requirements of our IT solutions together with internal customers and IT colleagues.
• Support and influence SAP integration, API, and data flow architectures, considering an API-first approach.
• Design and implement complex integration scenarios, with various integration patterns and protocols.
• Utilize understanding of pre-packaged integration content and effective use of the same.
• Develop enterprise-grade, robust Iflows for SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B for both asynchronous and synchronous communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring the stability and performance of integration solutions.
• Implement IS-API management including creating API providers, APIs, policies, and API products.
• Implement event-driven integrations using event mesh technology.
• Implement Integration Advisor and trading partner management scenarios.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are working as expected.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP systems, applications, and integrations.
• Regularly monitor the performance of SAP systems and optimize configurations to improve system efficiency and speed.
• Provide post-implementation support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and applying system patches and upgrades.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., functional consultants, third-party systems) to ensure solutions align with business goals.
• Document system configurations, customizations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure compliance with best practices.

What should you have

• At least 8-10 years of experience in SAP middleware integration area including 5+ years in SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience in at least 8 to 10 integration implementation projects using SAP Integration Suite.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven record of delivering high-quality results.
• Product and customer-centric approach.
• Innovative thinking and experimental mindset.
• Preferred- Relevant SAP certifications for BTP-IS
