Role summary:

The Senior Specialist, Skilled Facilities Maintenance, ensures the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities through routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing complex repairs across multiple trades, and overseeing junior associates while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position requires managing work orders, inventory, and contractor relationships to support operational efficiency and cost control. About the team:

Our skilled service technicians support the operational needs of a growing campus by managing various equipment and systems, including switchgear, lighting, and Building Management Automated Systems. The team uses data and collaboration to resolve issues and establish preventive maintenance standards. Emphasizing safety, quality, and adherence to guidelines, they continuously improve processes to ensure reliable facility operations and a well-maintained environment. Their expertise spans electrical diagnostics and equipment repairs, fostering a proactive approach to maintenance that supports the campus’s functionality and sustainability.

·         Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures.

·         Inspect, clean, and repair equipment, documenting signs of wear and recommending repairs or replacements.

·         Conduct major and minor Electrical repairs

·         Oversee and mentor junior associates, providing onsite training and evaluating skill development.

·         Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.

·         Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and company policies while maintaining accurate records and budget information.

·         Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to support operational goals.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
