The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support to the assigned regional sales team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of sales processes, effective agent lifecycle management, and timely delivery of data and insights that drive regional business performance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Sales team with back-office administration, account management, contract renewals, and agent interactions.
  • Assist with sales pipeline updates, maintain sales scorecards, prepare and process contract documentation, and coordinate banking and payment setups for new and existing agents.
  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Western Union, Vigo, and OV agents — including lead tracking and classification, pipeline management, agent enrollment and setup, activation, ongoing support, ownership changes, and agent deletions.
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day operational queries from both Sales and Agents, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing regional sales performance, consolidating data from multiple sources, and helping prepare insights and reports for management.
  • Ensure that sales processes, agent administration, and data management activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise in day-to-day sales operations and agent support activities.
  • Contribute to the coordination and monitoring of regional sales initiatives.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a sales support, operations, or administrative role within financial services, payments, or another fast-paced, customer-focused industry.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with data including reporting and analysis.
  • 2+ years’ experience with project management, business process, and sales operations.
  • 1+ year of experience with PowerBI and Intermediate/Advanced proficiency is required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel including pivot tables and vlookups is required.
  • 1+ year Salesforce.com is preferable.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, contract and account management tools, and reporting systems used to track pipeline activity, agent performance, and sales results.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, effective prioritization, and proactive collaboration across teams and functions.

Salary

The base salary range is $65,000.00 - 85,000.00 CAD Annual per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus annual incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
