Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Product Management
Overview:
The Senior Specialist, Network Products plays a critical role in shaping the commercial and strategic evolution of Mastercard’s global network access platforms, with a strong emphasis on Edge Connectivity (Cloud, Co‑Lo, On‑Prem).
This role blends product strategy support, advanced financial and data analysis, commercialization planning, and executive communication, partnering closely with Product, Technology, Finance, and Regional teams. A key differentiator is the ability to translate complex platform modernization and AI‑enabled insights into clear business impact and leadership‑ready recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Network Products strategy by applying AI-driven insights to improve decisions, efficiency, and innovation
• Perform financial and commercial analysis to evaluate product evolution and platform transition scenarios
• Assess revenue opportunities, cost structures, and potential cannibalization risks
• Contribute to business cases, long-term portfolio planning, and leadership decision materials
• Analyze customer behavior, usage trends, and regional adoption drivers
• Support commercialization planning, including packaging, pricing considerations, and transition strategies
• Build Excel-based financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to quantify business impact
• Support vendor economics analysis, including contracts, license utilization, and cost tracking
• Assist with platform transition, modernization impact analysis, and transition readiness planning
• Develop executive-ready presentations and translate complex analysis into clear business narratives
• Partner with product, technology, finance, and regional teams to ensure cross-functional alignment
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
Knowledge / Experience:
• 6-10 years related work experience with experience in Cloud connectivity, network management, payments, or enterprise platforms preferred
• Experience supporting product strategy, commercialization, or portfolio analysis
• Experience working with cross-functional product and technology teams
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data analysis
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into business recommendations
• Strong PowerPoint skills with experience creating executive-ready presentations
• Comfortable learning technical system flows and network rules
