The Role:
Our Colorado Springs, CO site is Inventory Analyst whom will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory planning, visibility, and optimization across operations. This role partners closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Finance to balance customer service, production needs, and inventory investment. Working independently on problems of diverse scope, the Inventory Analyst applies strong analytical judgment to improve material availability, reduce risk, and support operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and demand variability to recommend actions that balance service, cost, and risk.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, including reconciliation of discrepancies and root‑cause analysis of variances.
Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support data‑driven decision making.
Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Production Planning, and Quality to ensure materials are available and accurately accounted for to meet production and customer requirements.
Identify and recommend improvements to inventory policies, planning parameters, and material flow processes.
Support cycle count programs and inventory audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
Independently resolve inventory‑related issues using judgment, evaluation of multiple factors, and adaptation of established approaches.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory visibility, efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
What We Seek:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience preferred
Experience in inventory management, materials management, supply chain, or a similar analytical role.
Strong working knowledge of inventory management principles, material planning concepts, and ERP/MRP systems.
Proven ability to analyze data, evaluate multiple factors, and make sound recommendations with limited precedent.
Proficient in Excel and experience using reporting or data visualization tools.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional partners.
Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, and moving throughout the production area for extended periods
Ability to work in an office or manufacturing environment as needed
Lifting up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis
Bending, reaching, kneeling, or climbing as needed
Wearing required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel toe shoes
