Absa Securities UK (ASUK) is recruiting for a Senior Specialist: Institutional FICC Flow Sales at Director level to join the business who will drive institutional real money and hedge fund client growth across the UK/Europe region by delivering the Africa FICC flow product to clients. The role requires strengthening strategic relationships, delivering strong trade execution with market insights and leading cross regional sales initiatives.
The successful incumbent will have over 10 years’ financial markets experience, ideally in institutional sales, with strong exposure to currency, bond and derivative products, ideally with Africa region FICC product experience and a solid understanding of institutional client needs with a proven ability to influence key decision makers. The candidate should hold a degree in Finance or Economics and be able to demonstrate strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills and be proficient with sales CRM and trade execution platforms, as well as data and visualization tools. The incumbent should also have a proven track record in managing execution processes, cross-functional collaboration and enabling sales efficiency through technology.
