AT&T has an opening for a dependable and experienced Senior Specialist Facility Technician to support the day-to-day management, maintenance, and continuous operation of building systems and facility services in a 24/7 environment. This role is responsible for helping ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted facility operations, including monitoring building performance, coordinating maintenance activities, supporting incident response, and assisting with vendor and service management.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support 24/7 building and facility operations to help ensure continuity of critical services and systems.
- Monitor the condition and performance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, security, and other essential infrastructure.
- Respond to operational issues, alarms, service requests, and facility-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and track preventive maintenance and repair activities for facility equipment and systems.
- Assist with after-hours, weekend, and emergency response needs as required in a continuous operations environment.
- Work with internal teams, contractors, and service providers to resolve maintenance and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, maintenance schedules, incident reports, and vendor activity.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify issues, safety concerns, or opportunities for operational improvement.
- Help support compliance with safety procedures, building regulations, and operational standards.
- Assist in space readiness, equipment support, and general facility service coordination.
- Provide operational support for planned outages, repairs, and facility projects to minimize disruption.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting building and facility management in a 24/7 operations environment.
- Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Experience coordinating maintenance, repairs, and operational support activities.
- Ability to respond to urgent issues and support after-hours or emergency operational needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and facility compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in critical facilities, corporate offices, industrial sites, data centers, or multi-site operations.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and incident management processes. • Technical certification or training related to facilities, building operations, or maintenance.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and service contracts. Work Environment

- This role supports a 24/7 operation and may require shift work, on-call support, weekends, holidays, and emergency response availability.
- Work may involve both office-based coordination and hands-on activity in operational facility environments.
Our Senior Specialist Facility Technician's earn between $90,000 - $100,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
