The Senior Business Analyst/Architect is a senior strategic role responsible for shaping and translating business strategy into integrated, scalable, and sustainable enterprise-wide architecture. The role acts as a critical link between business and technology, enabling transformation by aligning value streams, business capabilities, systems, data, and people to strategic objectives.Job Description
Strategic Business Architecture & Transformation:
· Shape and implement business architecture strategies aligned with group and business priorities.
· Translate strategic goals into actionable architectural deliverables, including capability maps, value streams, and strategic roadmaps.
· Design and evolve enterprise capability models and frameworks that support digital transformation and enable agility.
· Drive innovation and customer-centric change using design thinking and data-driven approaches.
· Lead feasibility assessments, business case formulation, and solution alignment with strategic investment priorities.
Design & Delivery of Customer-Centric Solutions:
· Own the design and execution of end-to-end business solutions (e.g., Salesforce/CustomerOne) that enhance customer and colleague experience.
· Lead the development of journey maps and solution blueprints that drive seamless, omnichannel customer interactions.
· Apply modern architecture principles (e.g., domain-driven design, microservices) to ensure scalable and testable solutions.
· Select enabling technologies and tools to accelerate solution implementation.
Collaboration, Alignment & Governance:
· Collaborate with Technology, Solution Architects, and Strategy teams to ensure alignment across business and IT landscapes.
· Drive architectural governance, ensuring compliance with group standards, risk frameworks, and data orchestration principles.
· Present solution designs and architecture proposals in forums for alignment and decision-making.
· Monitor solution integrity and performance post-implementation against strategic and customer metrics.
Talent Leadership & Capability Building:
· Mentor and develop architecture and delivery teams, building enterprise-wide capability in business design and delivery.
· Lead communities of practice and contribute to the evolution of architectural principles across the organisation.
· Embed within agile delivery teams to ensure architectural oversight and knowledge transfer throughout implementation phases.
