So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking Senior Specialist Automation Engineer (QA) to lead and oversee the quality assurance efforts for our software projects. This role involves ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing software by combining functional expertise, automation testing, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in QA methodologies, performance testing, automation frameworks, and cloud-based environments, including AWS.
How will you make an impact?
Leadership and Decision Making: Proven experience with leadership and critical decision making in a fast-paced environment.
Functional QA and domain expertise.
Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Proficiency in developing automation framework with Java or C#.
Strong experience with automation testing frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
Hands-on experience with Chaos Engineering using tools like Gremlin.
Understanding of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with AWS services and related cloud technologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA tools.
Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Exposure to application observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch.
Have you got what it takes?
IT experience: 12-16 years
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for functional and regression testing using core languages and tools like Playwright and Selenium.
Performance Testing
Implement and manage performance testing frameworks using tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
Identify bottlenecks, analyze system performance, and recommend optimization strategies.
Chaos Testing
Develop and implement chaos engineering strategies using tools like Gremlin to test system resiliency.
Containerized & Cloud Environments Handling
Develop testing strategies for applications deployed in containerized environments.
Ensure seamless integration of QA processes with AWS and related technologies.
Department Level Reporting & Continuous Improvement
You will have an advantage if you also have:
AI-Assisted Test Design & Creation
Use AI tools to generate:
Test cases from requirements/user stories
Edge cases and negative scenarios
Test data sets
Validate AI-generated tests for accuracy and completeness.
