Job Title: Sr. Specialist – Facilities, Technical Services

Job Summary:
The Sr. Specialist – Facilities, Technical Services will oversee standalone sites having experience of low & high side equipment’s and daily operational management of administrative and facility services while ensuring the optimal performance of technical infrastructure. This role is responsible for workplace efficiency, vendor coordination, compliance adherence, and supporting critical facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, and fire safety operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Infrastructure & Operations:
Oversee maintenance of critical facility systems such as HVAC, Backup Generators, UPS Systems, Fire Suppression System, PAC’s, Electrical Panels etc.
To ensure all the planned preventive maintenance of all the critical and other equipment’s are being timely carried out
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in facility equipment’s to minimize downtime
Conducting risk/root-cause analysis in case of system failures and breakdowns and creating corrective & preventive action plan
Ensure compliance with safety regulations for fire alarms, emergency response systems, and access control mechanisms
Innovate, suggest and implement energy management ideas
Monitor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for operational efficiency and coordinate for necessary repairs
Supervise facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to sustain a safe and efficient workspace
Implementing and administering inventory control programs for purchase of parts as needed, effective procurement and utilization
Incident Management & Reporting
Be responsible for hiring, training and development of Supervisors, MST’s, shift engineers and maintenance staff
Provide necessary support to the Project Head on all the technical aspects during the projects
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams for technical requirements related to infrastructure
Ensuring the documentation of assets under asset list tracker
Ensuring the documentation and checking of the assets under defect liability period and AMC / CAMC in a tracker
Oversee the maintenance of office, ensuring a safe and functional environment
Coordinate internal communication and scheduling for senior management
Coordinate with Building Management Team and Security Officer for regular fire drills
Vendor & Contract Management:
Manage vendor contracts for facility maintenance, and technical services
Maintaining & timely renewal of repair and service contracts
Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
Track service level agreements (SLAs) and evaluate vendor performance for continuous improvements.
Employee Support & Workplace Solutions:
Act as the point of contact for employees regarding facility-related concerns and resolutions
Enhance workplace efficiency by implementing smart office solutions and automation tools.
Support employee well-being initiatives related to infrastructure and facility improvements.
Facility Management:
Administrative Support:
Coordinate internal communication and scheduling for senior management
Maintain records, reports, and documentation in line with company processes & policies
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Assist in the organization of Client Visits, company events, meetings, and conferences.
Qualifications:
Graduate Electrical / Mechanical Engineer with 10 years of experience in Administration & Facilities Management
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
