Position Summary

The Senior Sourcing Analyst supports CVS Health’s procurement transformation by contributing to data‑driven, digitally enabled sourcing activities across indirect spend categories. Partnering with category managers and stakeholders, the role supports and leads well‑defined sourcing initiatives through analysis, coordination, and documentation, leveraging standardized workflows, analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and consistency across the procurement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Execution & Enablement

· Execute transactional to moderately complex sourcing events using standardized digital tools and workflows in direct support of defined category strategies and objectives

· Prepare and own RFx materials, scopes of work, and evaluation criteria aligned with enterprise governance and best practices, informed by category insights, demand drivers, and market context

· Lead supplier communications, evaluations, and negotiations, leveraging market and category knowledge to achieve compliant, value‑optimized outcomes that support ongoing category optimization and value realization

Analytics & Decision Support

· Analyze spend, supplier performance, contracts, and proposals to inform sourcing decisions and category strategies

· Identify trends, risks, and value opportunities that support procurement transformation

· Develop clear, executive-ready analyses that translate complex data into actionable insights

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

· Support adoption of new sourcing processes, reporting tools, and digital capabilities

· Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement to enable scalability across categories

· Partner with senior managers and directors on analytics enhancements and transformation initiatives

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

· Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align sourcing activities with enterprise priorities, and present sourcing strategies, insights, and outcomes to business stakeholders to support informed decision‑making

· Serve as a trusted analytical and operational partner to category teams by translating data and sourcing outcomes into clear, business‑ready narratives that enable strategic focus and value realization.

Key Competencies

· Strong analytical foundation, with interest in using data, automation, and emerging AI tools to support sourcing decisions

· Able to operate effectively in a changing, matrixed environment, adapting to evolving tools, processes, and priorities

· Clear and concise communicator who connects analysis and findings to category and enterprise objectives with guidance

· Highly organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high‑quality work

· Collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset, with readiness to take on additional responsibility and expand sourcing capabilities

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, finance, analytics, consulting, or a related discipline

· Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization, dashboards, or procurement analytics tools

· Exposure to RFx processes, sourcing platforms, contract analysis, or digital transformation initiatives

· Experience working in large, complex, or matrixed organizations is a plus


Education

· Bachelor’s degree required

Work Model: Hybrid Candidates within commuting distance to Woonsocket, RI; Hartford, CT; Buffalo Grove, IL; will work onsite two days per week.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
