Overview:
Configures and integrates across enterprise platforms ensuring alignment with business requirements and risk standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, resolve technical challenges, and proactively contribute to process and system improvements by identifying opportunities for enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Configure, develop, and deploy system settings and functionality, workflows, peer reviews, integrations, and business rules to meet platform and business needs.
- Collaborate in sessions with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze business challenges for epics, features, and user stories by leveraging industry expertise and ensuring the solutions satisfy the business objectives.
- Monitor system health, performance, and logs, identifying and troubleshooting issues to maintain platform resiliency and resolve discovered issues.
- Manage system lifecycle from onboarding to retirement by monitoring of system through logging, testing, and data validation to ensure overall health of service and risk reduction for the platform.
- Provide content for user training and advanced user support as needed for platform-related issues.
- Lead incident management efforts, proactively identifying and resolving more complex issues, and coordinating with relevant teams across technology to ensure timely resolution and system stability.
- Analyze and resolve system performance and recurring issues, recommend and implement process improvements, and refine testing and troubleshooting workflows to enhance system performance.
- Create documentation for issues, solutions, and incident reports, ensuring clear and concise communication with both technical and business teams.
- Responsible for the testing of system configuration to ensure adherence to business requirements and quality control measures while researching and maintain regulatory standards to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risk.
- Contribute to solution design by presenting innovative ideas and viable alternatives to the team by leveraging established patterns and documenting artifacts.
- Assist with the building of solution design options by utilizing existing patterns and documenting artifacts.
- Review and validate system and data accuracy, support enforcement of governance policies, and collaborate with teams to ensure integrity across integrated platforms.
- Develop and maintain standard reports and dashboards, analyze data trends to provide insights, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data visualization and reporting accuracy.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Education and Experience Required:
- Associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years' solutions development and/or relevant enterprise technology experience or a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years' solutions development and/or relevant enterprise technology experience or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years' education and/or relevant work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ solutions development and/or relevant enterprise technology experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience executing processes associated with Software Licensing – primarily in SNOW/Flexera and/or SAM Pro/ServiceNow
- Advanced knowledge and experience supporting End of Life processes for Hardware and Software assets
- Advanced knowledge and experience analyzing and supporting configurable workflows for request management capabilities in ServiceNow
- Advanced knowledge and experience authoring, maintaining, and publishing Standard Operating Procedures and other supporting control documentation
- Advanced knowledge and experience creating dashboards/reporting in ServiceNow or other comparable tooling
- Knowledge of Software Discovery and License Management capabilities – primarily in SNOW/Flexera and/or SAM Pro/ServiceNow

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $97,100.00 - $161,800.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
