We are currently hiring for a Senior Solutions Architect within the Navista - Data & Advanced Analytics team to support the growth of our Navista Application Suite and the Integrated Oncology Network (IoN). The ideal candidate is a full-stack product architect with deep expertise in both GCP and Azure environments, data science principles, modern front-end development (React JS), and leading BI tools (Power BI, Looker). A strong background in healthcare data, particularly patient data, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and oncology, is essential to drive innovative solutions that directly impact cancer care and research.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will work cross-functionally to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing internal and external commercial analytics products, encompassing the entire technology stack from cloud-based data engineering to user-facing applications, AI and business intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the end-to-end architectural strategy for the Oncology Analytics Product Platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure application and data product across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, handling diverse healthcare data sources – EMR, RCM, PACS, Labs etc.
- Collaborate with data engineers to architect solutions for data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval, leveraging cloud-native services and big data technologies, with a strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR and OMOP.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning models into the platform, ensuring data quality and model operationalization.
- Oversee the architectural design of application front-ends using technologies like React JS, ensuring intuitive user experiences and seamless integration with backend services.
- Design and implement effective business intelligence and visualization solutions using tools such as Power BI and Looker, enabling users to derive meaningful insights from complex oncology data.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional engineering teams (data, front-end, back-end, BI), fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Ensure solutions adhere to healthcare industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and data governance standards, maintaining data privacy and security.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for their adoption to continuously improve the platform's capabilities and efficiency.
- Collaborate with product management, clinical stakeholders, and external partners to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a Senior Solutions Architect or Lead Product Architect role, preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Proven experience as a full-stack architect, with a strong understanding of front-end, back-end, and data architecture.
- Extensive hands-on experience with data engineering and analytics solutions on at least one of the clouds - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies, particularly React JS.
- Demonstrated expertise in Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI and Looker, with a focus on data modeling, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of data science principles and experience integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- Deep domain knowledge of healthcare data, including patient data, clinical workflows, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in a regulated industry, with a strong emphasis on data governance, security, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Direct experience with oncology-specific data, clinical trials, or cancer research platforms, strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and common data models like OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership), strongly preferred

Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
