Senior Solution Architect - Contract | Multiple Roles

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We are seeking multiple Senior Solutions Architects to help realise business and technology objectives through solution architecture activities, responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex systems that enable strategic outcomes.

Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do

• Requirements Discovery and Analysis: Engage stakeholders to understand goals, constraints, and risks to determine solution options.

• Solution Design: Build end-to-end designs across architecture layers, including key architecture decisions.

• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams and manage trade-offs effectively.

• Governance and Quality: Ensure alignment with principles, standards, and governance processes.

• Stakeholder Communication: Present designs to executives, business teams, and developers, simplifying complex concepts.

• Risk Management: Identify technical risks and dependencies, and define mitigation strategies.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

• 5+ years of architecture experience.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.

• Background in banking is desirable, including retail, commercial, investment banking, cards, payments, and loans; experience in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is also welcome.

• Experience in large corporate or enterprise-level businesses.

• Strong appreciation of risk and security in regulated environments.

• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
