Senior Automation Test Engineer | T3

About the Role:
As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will take on advanced testing responsibilities and contribute significantly to our quality assurance initiatives. You will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring high software reliability and performance. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in modern automation tools and the ability to mentor junior engineers while making continuous improvements in testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, enhance, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Develop robust and reusable automation test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
  • Integrate automated regression suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate automation script development and improve productivity.
  • Analyze test results and identify opportunities to improve test coverage and quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define effective testing strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall automation architecture.
  • Document test strategies, processes, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on expertise in test automation framework development.
  • Proven experience building automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Strong programming skills in Javascript/Typescript or Java or C# for automation scripting.
  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools for developing and optimizing automation test scripts.
  • Solid understanding of test automation architecture and framework design.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot automation challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
