The Role
This is an opportunity to join our growing Product Quality team as a Senior Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for functional and non-functional testing (including performance and automation testing) of the AspenTech Inmation Data Fabric products. You will work closely with front-end and back-end software developers and Product Management to gather functional requirements, understand system behaviour, and proactively drive quality best practices throughout the product lifecycle.

• Deliver high-quality software by designing and executing manual and automated tests, including test environments, installations, upgrades, and configurations, in accordance with technical specifications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks to improve test efficiency, reliability, and coverage.
• Design and perform unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing in an iterative, agile development environment.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand project goals and expectations.
• Drive test automation across API, UI, system, and integration layers using technologies such as MSTest, C#, Lua, PowerShell, Cypress, and Selenium.
• Maintain and execute performance, scalability, and stress tests.
• Share knowledge and best practices by participating in code reviews and pair programming.
• Work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Need
- Must-Have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least four years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test.
• Strong ability and willingness to design, develop, and enhance test frameworks, not just use existing ones.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one modern operating system.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. - Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Understanding of cloud deployments; familiarity with different deployment infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
• Basic knowledge of networking, databases, servers, communication protocols, and information security concepts.
