The Global Pursuit Enablement Team is a dynamic and innovative team committed to delivering high-quality solutions for Pursuit in HP Commercial Organization. We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help us implement and integrate agile methodologies, testing processes, test automation infrastructure and best practices to achieve excellence in our development processes.

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SWQA), you will be a member of a cross-functional team, working closely with technical leads, developers, product owners, UX engineers and other experts to deliver high-quality products. You will manage testing processes, automation framework, influence code design and define qualification activities to ensure our solutions meet high-quality standards. As senior member of the team, you will lead agile adoption, DevOps, and the implementation of best practices.

Responsibilities:

Agile Methodologies:

  • Assist in developing and integrating agile methodologies within the team.
  • Promote agile best practices and continuous improvement.

Quality Testing and Assurance:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Ensure the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing.

Quality Process Development:

  • Implement and maintain quality processes and standards.
  • Develop and track quality metrics such as acceptance criteria and code reviews.

DevOps:

  • Collaborate with the team to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration of software products.

Testing Automation Framework:

  • Develop, implement and configure automated testing frameworks.
  • Create, maintain and enhance automation scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.

Risk Analysis:

  • Analyze risk areas of products.
  • Define and implement a SW Quality Assurance Strategy, including manual and automated tests.

Feedback and Improvement:

  • Analyze test results, create convergence and quality metrics, and prepare reports.
  • Provide feedback on development and support documentation.
  • Collaborate with management and project development team for process alignment and improvements.

Customer Advocacy:

  • Advocate for product quality from the customer’s perspective.
  • Follow field defects and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles for software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Jenkins, etc).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Coding skills in languages such as SQL, Entity framework, C#, VB script, Python, .net framework, REACT
  • Fluent in English

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in the full software development life cycle.
  • Ability to debug issues and provide accurate severities and descriptions.
  • Open-mindedness to enable significant defect reductions and quality improvements.
  • Good planning skills (test schedule, resource planning).
  • Ability to manage QA processes and write test cases.
  • Proactivity, energy, dynamism, and motivation.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, networking, and leadership skills.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Flexibility and good learning skills.
