Position Overview  

The Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing organization in Poland. In this role, you will take a leading part in ensuring the quality of cloud-based API capabilities that connect products across Autodesk’s portfolio in the design and manufacturing domains.

This position follows a hybrid work model with the office located in Kraków or fully remotely within Poland.

Responsibilities  

  • Take full responsibility for the quality of a web service throughout development, deployment, and continuous operation.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals.

  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.

  • Design, develop, and optimize automated test frameworks for web applications.

  • Build, improve, and scale automated test suites to ensure product stability and comprehensive coverage.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities.

  • Contribute to manual testing efforts when required.

  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes across the organization.

  • Mentor QA engineers on best practices in automation, tooling, and quality processes.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong understanding of the SDLC of cloud services.

  • Deep understanding of test automation, API testing, and testing methodologies for web applications.

  • Proven experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python languages.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality products.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing AI-driven features or workflows.

  • Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from the ground up.

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading QA automation initiatives.

  • (A nice-to-have) Experience working with CAD/CAM software, ideally Autodesk Fusion and Inventor.
