About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
This is a senior-level developer role within the WIMT Data Services BI Reporting Team. The role is responsible for analyzing business and project requirements, preparing report design documents, developing high-quality BI reports, performing unit testing, and supporting QA and production deployments.
The role also involves conducting design and code reviews for artifacts developed by other team members to ensure adherence to standards and best practices. This position reports functionally to the Developer Manager and works closely with the US WIMT Data Delivery team to deliver operational and analytical reporting solutions.

This is a developer role within the WIMT Data Services BI Reporting Team, which is responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing report design documents, developing reports, and performing unit testing of the developed code.

This position reports functionally to the Developer and aligns closely with the US WIMT Data Delivery Team.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Responsibilities
Is responsible for developing operational reporting solutions for Wells Fargo Advisors applications using MicroStrategy (MSTR), OBIEE, and Tableau reporting tools.
Is responsible for analyzing report requirements, preparing high‑level and low‑level design documents, developing reports using MicroStrategy (On‑Prem and/or Cloud), OBIEE, and Tableau, unit testing the developed reports, and supporting the QA and production deployment stages.
Is responsible for following project plans and milestones and delivering all assigned project deliverables on time — every time.
Is responsible for ensuring MicroStrategy / OBIEE / Tableau coding standards are strictly followed without any deviation.
Is responsible for proactively identifying, raising, and escalating roadblocks in the report development process to ensure timely resolution.
Is responsible for updating and maintaining project documentation, ticket logs, and governance artifacts such as status reports, metrics dashboards, and defect trackers, as required.
