JOB OVERVIEW
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Portfolio Implementation Technology team, you'll design, build, and support the systems that implement investment decisions. You will work collaboratively with a strong team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and implement software components and applications across the full stack — web, mobile, desktop, and platform-level services
· Influence architecture and drive technical decisions across the team, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform health
· Partner with business teams, project managers, and systems analysts to turn business needs into clear requirements, specifications, and test plans
· Support the full delivery lifecycle: design, prototyping, implementation, testing, and production support
QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years of experience designing and developing durable and impactful software solutions with exposure to AI-driven agentic engineering practices
· Comfortable with SDLC tools such as issue tracking (JIRA / Linear), source code management (Git), CI/CD (Jenkins / GitHub Actions), IDEs (VS Code / IntelliJ / Eclipse), AI tools (Claude Code / GitHub Copilot), Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), Languages (Java / Python / TypeScript), and databases (Oracle / MySQL)
· Excellent communication and commitment to working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· A mindset to be a dependable steward of a business-critical platform, while embracing continuous improvement

The base salary range for this position is:
USD 90,000 - 180,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
