We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a key position on Walmart Amends. Amends serves as the platform that powers an experience for the customer to edit their orders after placement. This will serve a multi tenant need and will serve as a platform for multi regions In this role, you will develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day and solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems supporting Amends and real-time delivery platforms. Contribute to architecture decisions while delivering high-quality, production-ready code aligned with Walmart Global Tech standards.
What you'll do

Design and develop backend services for Amends systems.

Build and implement pipelines to process real-time delivery data.

Develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Engineering.

Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards.
What you'll bring

10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.

Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

Experience building applications using microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases:

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
