Senior Software Engineer – SW Integrator

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of a hybrid voice recognition system in which audio is simultaneously streamed to an embedded solution as well as on of multiple cloud solutions. Work involves processing and arbitrating the results.
  • Analysis of costumer product requirements
  • Setup and maintain CI/CD environment
  • Support SW release cycles and back integration of platform releases
  • Support integration of internal SW component deliveries
  • Setup environment and support testing on development- and on the actual infotainment system
  • Review and investigate issues based on tickets, traces and other issue reports
  • Partner closely with customers, other department like QA and QM and internal team members to establish and maintain clear, concise communication through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up
  • Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations from project experiences

Required skills:

  • Minimum years of work experience: 5
  • Software development experience, preferably for automotive and in connection with Android.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux as the host OS for building SW
  • Experience with CI/CD and build systems (Make, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, GitLab Runners)
  • Source control tools (Git/GitLab and Artifactory)
  • Experience in programming (Gradle, Java, Kotlin Python, Shell-Script, C/C++)
  • Ability to set-up and hardware equipment in support of software development tasks (i.e. configure software on target device, connect cabling/power suppliers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to master new technologies and tools quickly
  • Strong team player and customer focus

Preferred skills:

  • Agile software development processes (e.g. Scrum)
  • Experience with Unit Test Frameworks (Google Test and JUnit)
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
  • Experience with voice recognition software or multimedia streaming

Education:

Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, Computer Linguistics
