Your new role
- Lead the delivery of high‑quality software solutions across APIs and cloud platforms, owning build artefacts end‑to‑end and ensuring delivery aligns with SDLC, architectural standards and strategic IT objectives.
- Design, build, enhance and integrate cloud‑based and API‑driven solutions, analysing business requirements, completing impact and test coverage assessments, and translating them into robust, scalable applications.
- Take accountability for complex development activities, deployments and production support, proactively identifying, managing and escalating risks and issues to ensure stable, reliable outcomes within agreed SLAs.
- Drive continuous improvement across development processes, tooling and methodologies, ensuring solutions are well‑documented, maintainable and delivered with minimal rework during UAT and post‑implementation.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, BAs, QA, SMEs and key stakeholders to ensure customer impacts are considered in solution design and delivery, and that implementations meet online, digital and eBusiness needs.
- Develop applications which includes coordination and collaboration with the PMs/BA/QA as well as the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) of the project owners.
About you
You will be an experienced full stack software engineer with:
- Azure devops, building CI/CD and experience with DevSecOps
- Hands-on development on client server and n-tier systems
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate yourself both with written technical & verbal and can coach the team with kindness & respect.
- Broad knowledge of software development life cycle processes
- Practical commercial experience in .NET development (.NET Framework and/or .NET Core).
- Knowledge on Test Driven Development, CI/CD principles & agile working
