As a Sr. Software Engineer focused on Agentic AI, you’ll help shape the next generation of service management and automation across Technology Application Operations.
Your Team
You’ll work within Intelligent Operations. This team drives innovation, automation, and integration across Prudential’s ITSM landscape, including platforms like ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and a growing portfolio of Agentic AI solutions. The systems you build will span on-premises and cloud environments, supporting Prudential’s commitment to operational excellence and security.
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI applications that automate workflows, improve quality, and enable application operations to scale.
• Build solutions such as chatbots and digital assistants for application support, enabling teams to perform tasks across multiple platforms from a single interface. Use cases may include all the ITSM, PLM, and Observability pillars.
• Integrate Agentic AI with ITSM, observability tools, and cloud services to support application operations and other business capabilities.
• Design and deploy cloud-native Agentic AI applications, focusing on portability and scalability across major cloud platforms.
• Apply best practices for security, observability, and governance in all Agentic AI workflows.
• Collaborate with architects and partner teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Document architectures, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Stay current with emerging Agentic AI, AIOps, and automation technologies, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Mentor and support other engineers as we scale our Agentic AI capabilities.
Bonus Exposure
While your primary focus will be Agentic AI, you’ll also gain hands-on experience with other integrated platforms. We value engineers who are eager to learn and adapt as our architecture evolves.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API integration, and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts (e.g., autonomous agents, orchestration, reasoning, multi-agent systems) and related frameworks for AI, automation, or orchestration is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
• Knowledge of security, observability, and governance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
