This is a hybrid position located in Coppell, TX, a suburb of Dallas. Requiring 2 days per week in office

JOB SUMMARY

This role is ideal for a full-stack, senior engineer who enjoys owning complex systems end‑to‑end, balancing modernization with stability, and making a measurable impact within our company.

The senior engineer is an important part of our team and will work closely with the other agile team members to develop software solutions that help our end-users every day. They will help execute the vision our product team lays out, working in a variety of architectures both on-prem and in the cloud.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable .NET applications across web, API, and background processing workloads

  • Modernize and extend existing systems while supporting critical production applications

  • Partner with the Solution Architect to implement agreed‑upon architectural patterns and technical standards

  • Serve as a stakeholder for the technical backlog, working with the agile team to prioritize any technical debt

  • identifying improvement opportunities and capturing them as user stories

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and deployment processes

  • Collaborate with product owners and development team to build solutions to high-priority business problems

  • Monitor application health using logs, metrics, and dashboards

  • Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, architecture decisions, and development practices

  • Support user acceptance testing, production releases, and on‑call rotation

  • Stay current with relevant technologies, tools, and engineering practices, and share knowledge with the team

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • 5-8 years of progressing software engineering experience including building .NET applications in C# (.NET 6+, Windows Services, WinForms)

  • 3-5  years of experience building modern web applications with TypeScript (Vue preferred)

  • 3-5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining SQL Server databases

  • Preferred experience working in Financial Services

  • Strong experience designing and building REST APIs in C# (Swagger, OData)

  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented principles and design

  • Experience working with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

  • Experience building solutions in a major public cloud (Azure preferred)

  • Experience working with modern reporting or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Informer)

  • Experience maintaining or integrating with legacy technologies (SOAP, Classic ASP, older ASP.NET)

  • Working knowledge of architectural and design principles (SOLID, GoF, Clean Architecture)
