About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- At least 2 years hands on experience in Oracle APEX development, building data-driven web applications, reports, forms, dashboards, and workflows.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including development of procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application logic.
- Experience working with Oracle Database (12c or higher preferred) and a solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling.
- Proven ability to optimize and tune SQL/PL/SQL for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
It would be great if you also had...
- Experience with Oracle APEX themes, templates, dynamic actions, and UI customization.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as used within APEX applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and structured release processes.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments, including code reviews and CI/CD practices.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to support business processes and reporting needs.
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL database objects, ensuring clean, secure, and maintainable application logic.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and manage security, authentication, authorization, and data access controls within APEX applications.
- Troubleshoot application and database issues, support deployments and upgrades, and maintain technical documentation.
