What about your team?
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with knowledge and a broad range of concepts, technology, and domain insights to develop and deliver world-class software solutions.
You will be primarily responsible for building software in fast-paced, greenfields environments, using the latest cloud tooling & frameworks to create early stage prototypes & MVP releases that help advance business cases for new products.
Along with the initial build, there is an expectation you can help establish and evolve these initiatives to help expand our portfolio of ventures.
Key Responsibilities
Experience
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and expertise:
Design, implement, and run full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, identity platforms, and third-party vendor systems
Implement and maintain secure, scalable platforms and infrastructure as code using Terraform for a full stack project on AWS and/or Azure
Design and support complex end-to-end workflows across multiple systems and vendors, including troubleshooting issues that span multiple components and ownership boundaries
Work with standards-based identity and integration patterns, including OpenID Connect, to deliver secure and reliable cross-platform workflows
Proactively identify, prioritise, and address technical debt, ensuring sustainable code quality and alignment with long-term project goals
Take initiative and provide expert guidance to the squad on how to grow a foundational new product
We are interested to hear from people who have experience in
6+ years of programming and software development experience. Experience and comfort in TypeScript and Node
Proven experience building modern front-end and back-end experiences using modern web technologies such as Vuejs or Nextjs or React
Experience integrating and developing queries for SQL databases such as Postgres
Strong experience integrating multiple systems and vendors into robust end-to-end workflows
Strong troubleshooting skills across complex distributed systems, with the ability to diagnose issues spanning application code, APIs, identity flows, infrastructure, and third-party platforms
Knowledge of testing practices such as unit, integration or end to end testing
Strong expertise in web security practices, with proven experience implementing and maintaining secure applications
Strong experience in OpenID Connect / Open ID 4 or similar standards-based identity protocols such as Auth0/ Ping ID
Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code experience, ideally AWS and Terraform

React Native/Flutter/other cross-platform mobile frameworks
