Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in full stack web application development to join our JLL Technologies Research Engineering team. You'll be instrumental in developing new features and maintaining our US Research applications, streamlining how commercial real estate data is collected, managed, and delivered to both internal stakeholders and external clients, many of whom are some of the largest global investors of commercial real estate.

What this job involves
As a Senior Software Engineer at JLL Technologies, you will be part of the team responsible for enhancing and maintaining our US Research applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Designing and developing new features including complex web and business components, APIs, database stored procedures and reports for assigned modules.
Maintaining and enhancing existing application functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Enhancing complex database scripts for dynamic formulas used in the calculation of various CRE metrics.
Working closely with the data engineering team to support data integration work between various source systems and the application.
Performing unit testing, system integration testing and assisting with user acceptance testing.
Working closely with product management and product design to turn requirements into working features.
Contributing to innovation by developing prototypes to test how new technologies like generative AI can be used to enhance user experience and productivity in existing products.
Delivering on Engineering organizational priorities in the areas of enterprise architecture, security, dev ops and infrastructure.
Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing US Research applications.
Education and experience
3-5 years of experience in a software engineering role
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science or engineering
