We are looking for a Senior Developer for an important U.S.-based client.

Project: Acceleration of platform alignment and deployment repeatability to support large, complex customer engagements and regulated environments, with an emphasis on improving release velocity, architectural consistency, and time-to-market.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build large-scale backend systems using Java and Python.

• Architect and optimize search and analytics platforms using OpenSearch.

• Lead indexing, query optimization, and data modeling strategies.

• Drive system scalability and fault tolerance.

• Review code and mentor engineers.

• Collaborate with data, product, and infrastructure teams.

• Define technical roadmaps and best practices.

Must Have

• Strong experience with Java and/or Python.

• Advanced knowledge of OpenSearch or Elasticsearch ecosystems.

• Experience with distributed data systems.

• Strong system design skills.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with big data technologies.

• Knowledge of stream processing platforms.

• Experience with cloud-native search architectures.

• Familiarity with ML-powered search.

• Experience in compliance-driven environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.

• Experience leading complex technical projects.

• Proven delivery in high-scale systems.
