Senior Software Engineer I

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components. Complete complex bug fixes. Implement and guide others to continuous integration, delivery, and deployment software delivery practices. Identify operational requirements for logging, instrumentation and alerting and work with Senior II to ensure operational requirements are met. Implement continuous integration, delivery, and deployment software delivery practices. Aware of operational requirements and implementation for logging, instrumentation, and alerting. Work closely with other development team members to understand product complex requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve complex intermediate technical issues as necessary. Pair Programming with squad members to support the learning and development of others. Develop skills to mentor less senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques. Perform other duties as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field required.

  • 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

  • Also required is:

    • 5 years of experience: using SQL, UNIX, and Python.

    • 4 years of experience: programming in C# or Java; using data visualization: Tableau, SSRS.

    • 2 years of experience: working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines; using Spark.

  • Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.

  • Experience can be concurrent.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $84,900 - $141,600. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
