What You'll Do
Technical Design & Development
- Architect and implement sophisticated Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom application frameworks to meet complex business needs
- Lead development of intelligent automation using Agentforce, Agent Builder, and AI-driven Salesforce capabilities
- Build and maintain advanced automation with Flow Builder — including complex orchestration, interactive screen flows, and high-performance auto-launched flows
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented Apex code that adheres to platform best practices, design patterns, and algorithmic standards
- Design and manage robust integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and infrastructure discovery tooling to connect Salesforce with third-party systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product and feature design sessions, contributing to code reviews and ensuring quality across the delivery lifecycle
Platform Innovation & Optimization
- Proactively analyze Salesforce seasonal releases to identify and recommend high-value features that drive business growth and platform efficiency
- Resolve complex platform issues by leveraging deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, order of execution, and governor limits
- Incorporate AI-assisted development tools — including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Agentforce — to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
- Utilize developer tooling such as Apex Log Analyzer, Query Plan Tool, and Event Monitoring to optimize system performance and security
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks, utilities, and internal developer tooling to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Participate in the Hybrid Engineer model by performing QA on features developed by partner teams, ensuring thorough test plan execution and automation of acceptance criteria
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of API and web services development experience
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using RESTful APIs and standard data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP)
- Proven experience with MuleSoft ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Flow Designer, and DataWeave — including ETL processes, error handling, and API lifecycle management
- Ability to assess integration requirements and optimize resource utilization by estimating vCore capacity and SLA targets based on QPS, data volume, and solution design
- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies such as Maven, Jenkins, and Git
- Strong understanding of data structures and data management practices (maps, caches, ETL), with practical experience writing SQL and other database query languages
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and Advanced Developer certifications
- Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku
- A related technical degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), MuleSoft, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience with Force.com development and Salesforce Flows
- Proficiency with AI developer productivity tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or CodeWhisperer
- Experience with web application development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
