As Senior Social Media Manager, you will manage and execute organic social media strategies that align with business goals and elevate Blackbaud’s brand presence across platforms. You’ll play a key role in activating our AI leadership positioning, develop content tailored for social channels, manage day-to-day publishing and engagement, monitor sentiment and performance, and support campaign-level social activation.
This role requires an understanding of social media ecosystems within the B2B and tech space, a passion for content creation, and a strong grasp of how to use emerging technologies—including AI tools—to scale brand voice and engagement. You are a creative thinker and proactive collaborator with excellent communication skills, a pulse on platform trends, and a passion for developing social-first content.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Content Creation & Execution
Develop, produce, and edit social‑first content—including graphics, short‑form video, and platform‑optimized copy—that brings established campaign and social strategies to life.
Adapt existing marketing, product, and thought leadership content into social-friendly formats.
Execute publishing across channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.), maintaining a high quality, consistent brand presence.
Partner closely with the Social Strategist and Brand Marketing Manager to manage editorial calendars and ensure timely execution of campaigns and content.
Community & Channel Management
Monitor and respond in real-time to comments, messages, and community conversations in clear, US-style English to maintain a consistent and credible brand voice.
Provide frontline customer care through social channels in partnership with Customer Support.
Build meaningful community relationships and elevate opportunities for brand advocacy.
Monitor channels daily to identify emerging risks, sentiment shifts, and engagement patterns.
Support the program and content management of Blackbaud’s employee advocacy tools content needs as relevant.
Reporting & Performance Insights
Track, analyze, and report on channel and campaign performance using analytics and monitoring tools.
Share actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Support measurement of brand sentiment and reputation trends.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Required
5–7+ years of social media management experience
Proven experience creating social-first content across formats (graphic, shortform video, copywriting) using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design and video-editing tools.
Deep understanding of social platforms, best practices, and audience behaviors.
Experience with community management and customer care on social channels.
Proficiency with social analytics, monitoring, and content scheduling tools (Sprinklr, Sprout, or similar).
Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently, collaborate across time zones, and maintain a high bar for quality.
Direct experience with social media content for a predominantly North American audience.
Preferred
Experience working with global or enterprise level B2B and tech brands.
Familiarity with executive social programs or advocacy platforms (e.g., Sprout Advocacy).
Comfort using AI tools to scale content production, ideation, or copywriting.
Experience with project management tools (Asana or similar).
