Purpose of the Role

Working with the communications and marketing teams, you’ll grow our brand presence and leadership voices across social platforms. This role will oversee content planning, publishing, community engagement, and social reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to align activity with our broader marcomms plans. The right candidate will be as comfortable writing concise engaging content as they are filming interviews on the fly at events, flexing to the needs of the business. The Senior Social Media Executive will join dentsu’s UK&I communications function, reporting into the Senior Director of External Communications. 

What you’ll do

  • Content planning and publishing: Oversee day-to-day planning, writing, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across required platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram), ensuring alignment with marcomms activity.
  • Stakeholder and leadership support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership on their social strategies and content, drafting messaging aligned our GTM and their personal voice.
  • Social storytelling: Maintaining engagement with thought leadership throughout its lifecycle, making sure every external content piece brings value and sparks conversation.  
  • Cross-team collaboration: Partner with PR, marketing, events, and creative teams to keep the social calendar updated and ensure timely asset delivery.
  • Platform optimisation: Upload and manage content effectively, leveraging all platform features (e.g. tagging, SEO, native formats). Working with various media formats: audio snippets, videos, stories, social media cards, live event broadcasts, etc.
  • Performance reporting: Develop and circulate incremental reports on organic performance, sharing insights on creative, messaging, and audience engagement.
  • Brand monitoring and social listening: Track brand mentions and relevant content trends, plus competitor activity, and include findings in actionable reports. 
  • Paid campaigns: Work alongside working and new business teams to develop paid campaigns aligned to our prospecting strategy. 

What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience in B2B social media management, ideally with experience working in a large matrix organisation
  • Strong knowledge of social and creative software suites, including Sprout Social and Adobe Express, including video editing skills
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn for driving business results
  • Strong writing skills and ability to simplify technical language
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives at once
