Labcorp is seeking a Senior Site Support Assistant to join our team at Bangalore
Work Schedule
- Rotational shifts (including night shifts 9 PM - 6 AM)
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety remains the top priority in daily operations and promptly escalate any related concerns.
- Manage and maintain timely communication with investigator sites via email and other communication channels.
- Organize, monitor, and archive shared mailboxes to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Provide administrative support to Global Investigator Services (GIS), including:
- Preparing airway bills and shipping documentation
- Coordinating shipment requests and resolving delivery errors
- Assisting with investigator and sponsor portal access issues
- Communicating updates on policies, procedures, and reports
- Support query resolution and database management by:
- Updating investigator site information for follow-ups
- Escalating critical issues to global coordinators
- Resolving system-generated holds (simple to moderate complexity)
- Responding to project-related queries via phone and email
- Monitor and track accession holds, ensuring timely resolution and communication of delays to stakeholders.
- Support panic and alert notifications by informing investigator sites, sponsors, and affiliates of critical lab results, exclusions, and test cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and quality standards, including:
- Documenting service failures and supporting resolution
- Reviewing and updating training materials
- Participating in process improvements and global initiatives
- Assist with reporting activities, internal stakeholder requests, and documentation workflows.
- Operate office equipment and support logistics such as printing, faxing, and shipment of reports.
- Maintain continuous learning by completing required trainings and participating in meetings and process updates.
- Standard business hours (to be defined by business needs)
- Flexibility to support global teams across time zones, as required
- Occasional overtime based on workload and project demands
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
- 1+ years of experience required
- Prior experience in clinical research, healthcare operations, or customer support environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and high-volume workflows effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
- Experience handling email-based workflows or shared mailboxes is an advantage
