What you will be doing
- Participate in day-to-day operations for team changes and incident
- Configuring and deploying product releases into production and verifying for quality.
- Participate in data center and infrastructure change activities.
- Working directly with Payments Platform
- Help identify repetitive non-value adding tasks and be hands-on in coding and scripting.
- Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will focus on Scalability, High Availability, Performance, Stability and Reliability of Software Applications.
- SRE will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What you bring
- At least 2-3 years of experience and knowledge of building and supporting application infrastructure in a private and/or public cloud.
- 2-3 years of Change Management experience on ITSM Tools like Service Now
- 2-3 of Experience developing and or implementing effective Monitoring on standard tools similar to Splunk and Dynatrace
- Automation Tools associated with Infrastructure as Code, deployment, and configuration management. (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Harness)
- Knowledgeable of engineering practices. (source control systems, release and deployment patterns)
- Hands-on experience in engineering environments (Cloud Service Providers. (Azure, Private Cloud))
- Experienced with engineering deployment technologies. (containers, databases, packages)
- Knowledge of Unix systems and IBM technologies. (WebSphere AS, MQ, and Oracle)
Bonus if you have
- Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, or Python.
- Payments Processing Industry. (RTP, ACH, and Wires)
