You are a commercially driven and technically minded Senior Site Account Manager to join our growing regional sales team in Central Asia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering technical solutions that create real value for mining customers.
As part of our dedicated site sales team, you will work closely with customers to support their operations with aftermarket products, spare parts, components, and services across mineral processing plants. You will play a key role in driving sustainable business growth while helping customers improve plant performance, reliability, and profitability.
Drive aftermarket sales growth across assigned customers and territory
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with mining operations and stakeholders
Identify sales opportunities and convert them into profitable business outcomes
Manage customer-specific pricing within approved guidelines and support value-based selling
Promote the full FLSmidth product and service portfolio, including parts, consumables, upgrades, and technical solutions
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to improve customer experience and product offerings
Understand competitor activity and develop strategies to position FLSmidth for long-term success
Support customers in improving operational performance and sustainability outcomes
Collaborate closely with the regional sales and service teams across Central Asia and APAC
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or a related technical field
Experience in technical sales within mining, mineral processing, equipment, aftermarket, or industrial services
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to build long-term customer partnerships
Understanding of value-based sales and solution selling concepts
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across a regional team environment
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and MS Project
Based in Almaty or willing to relocate
Willingness to travel frequently across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and other regional mining sites
