Overview
Responsible for performing maintenance, testing and deployment of T.D. Williamson (TDW) electronic and mechanical products and services, according to established company procedures and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, assemble, integrate, and test electronic parts based on electrical and/or hydraulic schematics.
- Conduct function testing and fault-finding of control systems, electronic/mechanical components for equipment
- Prepare electrical/electronic and/or mechanical/hydraulics equipment to be sent onsite based on project specifications.
- Contribute to safe handling of goods and equipment.
- Participate in fabrication and testing of electrical/electronic equipment.
- Ensure as built documentation for engineers.
- Maintain and preserve incoming rental/service equipment and other equipment for storage.
- Troubleshoot and repair all service equipment ready for mobilization in accordance with established assembly and configuration procedures.
- Identify and suggest corrections for fit and finish problems.
- Provide support to mobilized personnel when needed.
Experience
- Technical and/or vocational degree in automation, mechanics, electronics, or other related field, and three (3) years relevant work experience including disassembling and maintain mechanical components or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment and under pressure.
- Ability to work precisely and independently.
- Ability to disassemble and build mechanical components using instruction and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to speak English required.
- Ability to speak Norwegian required by location.
