Job Details:
Job Summary: Receives, stores and issues materials and compiles records in warehouse. Interfaces with Quality, Shipping and Global Compliance to ensure compliant packaging, kitting and shipment of material. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Researches contracts for packaging requirements.
- Prepares packaging requirement instructions when required. .
- Interfaces with Operations, Quality, Global Compliance and Shipping as required
- Supports all other departments requiring shipping information of assistance.
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming/outgoing articles to verify receipts/shipment of items on requisition or invoices
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications
- Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size or type of material
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
- Moves or transports material to other sites and maintains inventory and other stock records
- Maintains transactional data requirements in the ERP system
- Additional duties that may be assigned relating to shipments made to Cubic de Mexico (CdM)
- Reviews material lists destined for CdM for items that require a license to cross through US Customs
- Creates and forwards inventory lists with the appropriate license reference to Global Compliance
- Creates and forwards non license inventory lists to Global Compliance
- Prepares and packages the material for shipment to CdM
- Receives approval from Global Compliance to cross the material through US Customs
- Notifies Global Compliance that the material is ready and stages the material for pick up by the CdM carrier
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent and a minimum of one years of relevant experience.
- Experience with MS Office required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions, prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate forklift.
