Freedom Technology Solutions Group (FTSG) is seeking an experienced SharePoint Farm Engineer to support U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) in maintaining and remediating a SharePoint 2019 farm hosted within a Linux-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environment.

This position is focused on SharePoint farm-level administration and server-side troubleshooting following a migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019. The environment is experiencing degraded functionality due to broken event receivers and legacy customizations, and USCYBERCOM is seeking a senior-level engineer who can identify, repair, and stabilize the farm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and fix event receivers, features, and custom solutions broken during the SharePoint 2013 → 2019 migration

  • Perform SharePoint farm health checks and environment scans

  • Identify deprecated or incompatible customizations and third-party components

  • Use PowerShell extensively for farm configuration, troubleshooting, and remediation

  • Validate service applications, web applications, timer jobs, and dependencies

  • Support SharePoint running on Linux-based IaaS infrastructure

  • Ensure farm stability, performance, and compliance with USCYBERCOM requirements

  • Document findings, fixes, and recommended improvements

  • Collaborate with FTSG and government technical teams

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience as a SharePoint Farm / Server Engineer

  • Deep expertise with SharePoint Server 2013 and 2019

  • Advanced SharePoint PowerShell skills

  • Proven experience troubleshooting farm-level issues, event receivers, and custom solutions

  • Experience supporting SharePoint in IaaS or hybrid environments

  • Ability to work independently in a secure, mission-critical environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community customers (USCYBERCOM preferred)

  • Experience performing post-migration remediation

  • Familiarity with SharePoint security hardening and STIG compliance

  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one

Required Qualifications:

      • TS/SCI with Polygraph
      • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
      • At least eight (8) years of experience with SharePoint.
      • Extensive knowledge of Linux
      • Ability to work during core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
