About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce Professional Services focuses on delivering strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and articulate clear plans for execution of change programs. We rely on our team’s expertise and specialisms to engage with executive-level customers to agree on specific business goals and actions to ignite the full value of Salesforce. Our approach considers people, process, and technology — and a successful engagement includes recommendations to the business for change to support deeper, more relevant use of the Salesforce platform.

Overview of the Role

Services Sales Solutions Architects act as the technical backbone for shaping large-scale transformation programs. Partnering closely with Services Sales Solutions Leads (who manage the scope and SOW) and Account Partners (who manage the commercial relationship), you will provide deep product and platform expertise to ensure the proposed solution is technically viable, scalable, and secure.

Your core responsibility is to validate the technical reality of complex solutions. You will support the estimation of specialized components. You are the go-to specialist for the most complex technical challenges in the pre-sales cycle, translating business requirements into a tangible technical solution design and providing critical input to the Statement of Work to ensure a seamless transition to the delivery team.

Your Impact

  • Act as the primary technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle for complex, transformational engagements.

  • Provide deep product and platform expertise on Salesforce and its emerging technologies, guiding both customers and internal teams.

  • Partner with the Services Sales Solutions Lead to lead the high-level technical solutioning and ensure the proposed architecture is viable and aligns with best practices.

  • Validate the technical viability, scalability, and security of all proposed solutions, identifying and managing technical risks early.

  • Clearly define and document the findings, plans, and technical solution designs resulting from POCs and discovery workshops.

  • Provide detailed technical sizing and estimation input for complex or specialized solution components, supporting the Services Sales Solutions Lead's overall estimation process.

  • Translate complex business requirements into a concrete, high-level technical solution design.

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders, particularly IT leaders, enterprise architects, and technical SMEs.

  • Facilitate technical discovery and in-depth solutioning workshops with customer architects and SMEs.

  • Work closely with internal Subject Matter Experts and Product teams to validate solutions for emerging technologies or highly custom requirements.

  • Ensure the technical solution design is clearly documented and understood for a seamless transition to the delivery team.

  • Provide general technical oversight and guidance during the final SOW review to ensure technical commitments are clear, achievable, and well-defined.

  • Identify and proactively manage technical risk areas regarding the proposed solution architecture.

  • Formulate and articulate the technical strategy and design to C-level executives and senior IT leadership, building buy-in for the proposed solution.

  • Contribute to the community's overall knowledge base by sharing technical best practices, demo assets, and solution patterns.

  • Develop innovative technical solutions to complex business and architectural issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience: 10+ years’ enterprise-level consulting or technical architecture experience.

  • Pre-Sales Acumen: Proven experience in a technical pre-sales role, with hands-on responsibility for technical solutioning, and technical estimation support.

  • Salesforce Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, demonstrating deep technical and functional proficiency in designing complex solutions.

  • Architecture Skills: Strong application design skills combined with deep data, integration, and security architecture expertise.

  • Multi-Cloud Expertise: Demonstrable experience in designing and scoping multi-cloud Salesforce solutions that span the platform.

  • Executive Presence: Strong experience presenting complex technical concepts to decision-makers, specifically CIOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects.

  • Collaboration: Proficient at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly Services Sales Solutions Leads (on scope) and Account Partners (on strategy).

  • Communication: Speaks and writes with clarity, brevity, and purpose; excels at teaching complex concepts and influencing C-Level stakeholders.

  • Ideal Certifications: Salesforce domain expertise is required. Highly beneficial to have advanced certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application, Agentforce Specialist  and/or System Architect.

  • Methodology: Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) to ensure proposed solutions are deliverable.

  • Education: Degree or equivalent relevant experience required (e.g., military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

  • Logistics: Ability to travel may be required and varies depending on client requirements.
