We now have the opportunity for a Senior Service Manager to join our Technology Department, you will play a key role, ensuring they align with our business objectives and meet the highest industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver.
Role detail
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Service Manager to lead and coordinate all efforts related to the business continuity plan. This role will drive the identification and closure of continuity gaps, working closely with infrastructure and application teams to validate business requirements and design resilient solutions aligned with critical business needs, and will coordinate solution delivery and manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, ensuring robust, proven recoverability across the organization.
Main responsibilities
Drive Business Continuity Plan maturity by collaborating with stakeholders to build greater awareness of the Business Continuity Plan, identify potential gaps and develop mitigation strategies to reduce exposures in meeting the business recovery requirements.
Guide internal Infrastructure teams and business application IT teams on Business Continuity planning procedures to ensure all requirements are considered, mitigated and validated through testing. Identify risks and recommend improvements based on post exercise report results.
Oversee and lead recovery-training activities and provide on-going educational opportunities through hand-on pre-exercise planning activities and hands-on recovery rehearsals.
Develop maturity metrics to: 1) measure the effectiveness of overall Business Continuity Plan 2) evaluate the adequacy of the plan for the critical applications and 3) track program improvements year over year.
Coordinate the response to audit (internal/external) and customer inquiries regarding IT Business Continuity Plan.
Lead the Business Continuity Plan for IT
Requirements
+ 5 years of experience Business Continuity Plans
Excellent project management and process development skills.
Extensive experience in the IT Services sector gained in organizations where IT is considered critical to their successful operation
ITIL Certified
Be available for on-call duties.
Competences
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized, methodical and responsible
Initiative and ability to work in team
Proactivity and autonomy
Ability to work under pressure

The role will be based in Madrid
