Senior Service Designer

Toronto, Ontario Full time

As a Senior Service Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping intuitive, humancentered digital experiences across our B2C web platforms, spanning desktop, tablet, and mobile. Youll work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and the broader HumanCentered Design team to balance user needs with business goals, while driving a customerfirst mindset. This role involves leading user research, translating insights into actionable design solutions, facilitating collaborative design sessions, and contributing to the evolution of our design systems and product design practice—all within an agile, testandlearn environment. 

 

Position Responsibilities:   

 

  • Primarily designing B2C web applications that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile 
  • Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering to balance product and user needs 
  • Part of the broader Human Centered Design team, advancing a customer-centric vision 
  • Conducting user research, distilling data, and communicating insights 
  • Consistently communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design implementation 
  • Working in an agile environment for quick prototype-test-iterate cycles 
  • Facilitating jam sessions and articulating design decisions 
  • Contributing to the evolution of our design systems 
  • Helping develop our Product Design practice and culture 
  • Determining UX success metrics & KPIs with stakeholders and analytics 

 

Required Qualifications:  

 

  • 3+ years of product design experience with Figma expertise 
  • High proficiency in human-centered design, visual design, usability, and accessibility 
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end digital product design process, including user validation, user flows, content modeling, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals 
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Research and Content teams within Agile methodology 
  • Experience with design systems

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
