Job Description:
Senior Security Engineer
Location: Central London - on site 5 days per week.
Due to security clearance requirements candidates must be eligible for or currently hold SC or DV. Candidates must be sole UK national/British citizen and resided in the UK for 10 years and over.

The role:
At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an openings for a Senior Security Engineer. We are looking for the following for successful candidate to join our expanding team.
Role responsibilities :
Provide second and third level technical support on incidents and problems
Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
Requirements consulting, design, implementation and maintenance of security toolsets and integrations
Assist the Account Security Team with processes and policies

A proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems
Assist in shaping future security services on key client accounts
Desirable Skills and Technologies :
Solid knowledge and understanding of networking
Experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of security toolsets and technologies within both on-premises and cloud environments
Experience or knowledge of operating systems, PKI, anti-virus, firewalls, device and application control, privileged access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring
Comfortable with scripting eg Powershell, Bash
Good understanding of non-functional/quality requirements within security toolset designs
Strong awareness of governance, risk and compliance
Awareness and understanding of modern technology tools eg Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and their related security considerations
Ability to communicate key details of technical solutions to variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences
Ability to plan, design and demonstrate proof of concepts relating to a variety of security toolsets
