What is it like to be a Senior Security Consultant at Northbridge Financial

The Senior Security Consultant is responsible for ensuring the enterprise's security capabilities are up-to-date and efficient, and complement its business objectives. The Senior Security Consultant is responsible for participating in the development and implementation of complex IT security solutions onto security IT infrastructure. The Senior Security Consultant has an innate understanding of complex business needs and addresses them with expert-level technical solutions and methods.

If you are great at:

• Oversee, integrate strategies and ensure project security deliverables are on-time and meet agreed-upon requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors, and the Program and Project teams to gain an understanding of IT solutions, and their respective security implementation requirements and strategies.
• Ensures security dependencies, risks deliverables are identified in a timely manner and any changes to the project are managed appropriately.
• Collaborate with IT leaders for the assignment of security resources required for the solution/application deliverables.
• Take an advisory lead role with the IT security team, other departments, to ensure planned implementations/rollouts are closely aligned with, and supportive of, business and security solutions across the corporation.
• Support Incident Response methods, technology, streamlining the security process.
• Accountable for the deployment of security technology solutions associated with projects.
• Provide direction and guidance on improving the operational efficiency of security and IT project implementation and monitor overall risks and contingencies.
• Participate in the development, implementation of IT-wide security solutions and processes.

If you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of working experience in IT security environment or a relevant IT field
• Experience with the following:
  • GitHub and GitHub Adv Sec
  • Microsoft solutions for App Security including threat modelling
  • SAST and DAST solutions
  • ServiceNow exposure
  • Experience with Penetration testing for infrastructure and web applications
  • OWASP
  • SonarQube, Varonis, Synk, etc.
• CISSP, ISSAP, GIAC, CISA certifications are an asset

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The annualized base salary range for this role is $128,000 - $177,000, which reflects the expected base pay or – not the total compensation package, if applicable. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
