Join our Early Development Services team in Cambridge, where you’ll play a key role in advancing innovative biologics through molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, and protein science. Contribute to the development and delivery of multiple customer projects within Early Development Services.
Perform vector construction, mammalian expression, and purification of recombinant proteins following strict SOPs and regulatory standards.
Apply a range of purification techniques, including operation of AKTA systems and Unicorn software.
Conduct analytical assays for protein characterisation using Agilent HPLC systems and Empower 3.7 software.
Prepare high‑quality scientific reports, data summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Support laboratory operations through routine inspections, adherence to safety standards, and participation in Operational Excellence initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and communicate project progress to customers.
Strong experience in molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and protein characterisation.
Hands‑on expertise with AKTA chromatography systems and Unicorn software for method development and purification workflows.
Experience using Agilent HPLC systems and Empower 3.7 for analytical method execution, data acquisition, and reporting.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑quality results to tight timelines.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
A problem‑solving approach with the ability to analyse data and contribute to scientific discussions.
Relevant scientific degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
