Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Senior PS Consultant to join our team. This role involves acting as a functional expert and lead consultant in SAP Project System (PS) implementation projects, supporting project management processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP PS, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP PS (Project System) module, including configuration, best practices, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA platform, especially in project management and controlling functionalities.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP PS with other modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and external systems using tools like SAP PI/PO, CPI, or similar middleware.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in project planning, budgeting, cost tracking, resource management, and project closure, with the ability to map these processes to SAP solutions.
  • Proficiency in system configuration including master data (projects, WBS elements, networks), cost planning, budgeting, billing, and reporting.
  • Skilled in using technical tools including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software.

Leadership and Management Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor project teams and junior consultants effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with business stakeholders and project managers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex project issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strategic thinking to align SAP PS functionalities with overarching business objectives and stay abreast of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional consultant for SAP PS module in implementation and support projects.
  • Act as the module lead, overseeing configuration, testing, and deployment activities for project management solutions.
  • Lead project teams, driving competency development initiatives to enhance functional and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and team members.
  • Participate in presales activities, including customer requirement gathering and solutioning project management needs.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including customer requirement gathering and solutioning.
